  PERSONALITY   Faust is immensely curious about mortals and the star, and seems to only have something of a rudimentary understanding of both. He has no reservations about asking for more information on something, approaching others when curious about them, and even asking to be taught by another. He is a very polite and well-spoken man (despite not knowing many casual phrases and idioms) both due to his fear of being attacked and the constant pursuit to woo others for a meal.Like any man who is angling to fulfill a need or ensure his survival, Faustinien can be quite charming when necessary. However, the farther he gets from his last meal, the more desperate he becomes. Some report his attitude shifts to pathetic and pleading if he is weak enough, but never violent or aggressive. He has never been reported to have harmed someone intentionally, and even if threatened he more often than not will attempt to flee. It is not uncommon for him to be injured by hunters and mercenaries as a result.This is a notably lazy man, to such an extent that he has no ongoing employment nor plans to do so. Faust will often leave tasks unfinished once he realizes that it that involves even a mote of effort on his part. Unless, of course he really cares about the person he is doing it for.Given he perpetually has no money, he often bargains for favors and such. A debt for a debt, and all. But he is true to his word and trustworthy when it comes to seeing out his promises.When intimate, as it is more a base need than a recreational activity, he becomes a little closer to his voidsent nature. He turns a bit more ravenous, almost feral, and is harder to reach or reason with until his obsession has waned or his hunger has been appeased.(A note: Faust is polyamorous, NOT monogamous. He never will be; he needs to feed and if he stuck to one person it would kill his partner. Do not try to force this, it will not happen.)

His loss of memory has resulted in a loss of identity, and just as he cannot recognize himself, he does not recall the terms of his vengeance or those who wronged him.What a poor bargain this dying fool had made.Perhaps, in time, he will discover some clues of his past or stumble upon those who he swore his revenge upon.   APPEARANCE    Faustinien is fortunate in that he is able to pass for mortal in most instances with his glamours on, which allows him to roam and blend in within crowded city-states. His skin is ashen and desaturated, not unlike a typical duskwight complexion, with long hair of a similar hue that hangs curtain-like over his features. Occasionally he makes an effort to wear something nice in pursuit of a meal, but now and then he wanders into town looking quite mussed and unkempt.When not in his glamours, Faust's form fits his voidsent nature- enough that some civilians who came across him in Coerthas when he first came to ran in horror.   THE LEASE AGREEMENT    : COMMONFaustinien has an apartment, but no job or stable income to speak of. How? Well, he happens to have a mutual agreement with the person he is renting the space from. Anyone who shows up and whispers the password to him will receive a nice night of pleasure from Faust, no questions asked. If your OC is the sort to pay for services, they may wind up at his door. It's actually quite a good deal for Faust- he gets a free meal now and then along with the waived rent. Feel free to whisper this one even if he is in the Quicksands and he'll drag your character off somewhere private.(No Gil exchange necessary here folks! PASSWORD: POMEGRANATE  HIRED HELP    : COMMONFaust has bouts of weakness if he has not been able to replenish his aether stores for a while. As such, he needs a retainer or general errand-runner/housemate etc to assist him from time to time. Of course "assist him" often means volunteering their body so he can get his strength back. He will of course pay his employees and make these terms clear upon hiring, though if any should come along who would agree to these duties without the need for repayment, all the better for him.  COURTESANS    : COMMONIf your OC is a courtesan or offers adult services for coin, most likely they have seen Faustinien around or have even been sought out by him for an evening or three. This man is into all sorts or wanton acts with a list of kinks that would make a holy man faint.
